Assam has some of the richest biodiversity zones in the world consisting of tropical rainforests, deciduous forests, riverine grasslands, and numerous wetland ecosystems. The state is the last refuge for many endangered species like Indan Rhinoceros, Golden Langur, White-Winged Wood Duck, Bengal Florican, Black-breasted Parrotbill, Pygmy Hog, and Greater Adjutant Stork. Indeed so rich is the diversity that the United Nations has declared Kaziranga and Manas as world heritage sites.

The Assam Wildlife Tour allows one to experience the natural diversity found in Assam by visiting the evergreen forests of Manas, grasslands of Kaziranga and mixed forests of Nameri. All the three parks have their own peculiar habitat which in turn house unique flagship species. This trip is a nature’s treat for birders and wildlife lovers alike.
