Our East Arunachal cycling tour takes you through the enchanting riverine landscapes of the three major tributaries of the Brahmaputra. From the serene banks of the Siang River in Pasighat to the verdant valleys of Roing, the historic charm of Namsai, and the lush forests of Miao, each destination offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural insights. Day 1: Dibrugarh

Pickup from Dibrugarh airport and drive to your hotel . In the evening check bike fittings .

Day 2: Dibrugarh to Pasighat                    Ride distance: 60 kms

Start your East Arunachal cycling tour with a detour taking you to the banks of the Brahmaputra. From here cross the mighty river over the Bogibeel bridge getting you on the North bank of the river. An under construction four lane highway will soon get you to Ruksin, the border of Assam and Arunachal . On crossing the border you will see a dramatic change in the landscape to a more laidback nature backdrop.

Day 3: Pasighat to Bomjir                           Ride Distance: 78 kms

It is a long day of cycling over undulating terrain in which you traverse the basin of the Siang and Dibang rivers. On one side you will see quaint villages and on the other the vast flood plains created by the serpentine rivers.

Day 4: Bomjir to Tengapani                        Ride distance: 83 kms

The ride continues further East towards the flood plains of Lohit, the third major tributary of the Brahmaputra. The ride to Tengapani  is over wide and empty roads making it a joy to pedal . The road will traverse through forest patches, open fields and smaller streams. We end our ride at the opulent Golden Pagoda temple built by the Khamti community who proscribe to Theruvada Buddhism.

Day 5: Tengapani to Miao                                    Ride distance: 83 kms

Our road continues further east to Miao, the gateway to Namdapha National Park . The first part of the ride is over the wide Trans Arunachal highway. From Kharsang you turn in on the one lane road which takes you to Miao. Relax and unwind for the remainder of the day. O/n at Namdapha Jungle Camp

Day 6: Miao to Dibrugarh                               Ride distance: 35 kms

Load the cycles in the pickup and drive to Nampong and if possible to Pangsau pass which leads into Myanmar. From here enjoy a roller coaster ride down till the historic town of Ledo in Assam . Pack your cycles and drive to Dibrugarh .

Day 7: Dibrugarh

After breakfast drop to Dibrugarh airport
