Day 2 : Bishkek
Start our Kyrgyzstan Adventure tour with a hike in the picturesque Ala-Archa National Park, named after the river that winds through its sweeping valleys. Spread across more than 165 sq. km and rising dramatically from 1,500 to 5,000 meters, this spectacular landscape offers a perfect first glimpse into the raw beauty of Kyrgyzstan.
Later, we turn our attention to the country’s vibrant capital, exploring its highlights—from the State History Museum and Ala-Too Square to Pobeda Square and the lively Osh Bazaar—soaking in the rhythm, stories, and spirit of Bishkek. Night stay in a hotel
Day 3: Bishkek to Chon Kemin
In the morning visit the Burana Tower, an 11th century minaret. Over here we will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the Silk route. We will also visit an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors).
By mid-day reach the picturesque Chon Kemin valley, parts of which have been designated as a nature park. After lunch set out on an enjoyable hike through the pine forests of the nature reserve. Night stay in a guesthouse
Day 4: Chon Kemin to Song Kul
A five hour drive will get us to Song-kul, one of the highlights of our trip to Kyrgyzstan. Words are inadequate to describe the beauty of this turquoise lake located at an altitude of 3016 meters. After lunch at our Yurt camp walk along the shore line, absorbing the tranquillity and beauty of the place. Night stay in Yurts
Day 5 : Song Kul
In the morning set out on a half day horse back ride over undulating mountains with grand views of Song Kul lake . In the second half relax around our yurt camp or go for a short hike around the camp. Night stay in Yurts
Day 6: Song Kul to Issyk Kul
Today we continue driving to another popular lake Issyk Kul. Covering a surface area of 6000 sq. kilometers , it feels more like an ocean than a lake. Post breakfast drive to a village on the southern shore of the lake where we will see an interesting demonstration on how yurts are made. This will be followed by a traditional lunch with a local family.
After lunch drive to one of the most picturesque of all canyons in Kyrgyzstan. The views of the moon-scaped canyon are simply stunning when seen from the top. Descend from the canyon to take a refreshing dip in the clear waters of Issyk Kul lake, bringing to end a varied day. Night stay in a guesthouse
Day 7: Issyk Kul to Karakol
One of the unique customary traditions of the Kyrgyz nomadic communities living around Issyk Kul, is Eagle Hunting . Practised since hundreds of years this art showcases a strong relationship between the hunter and the Golden Eagle. In the morning witness a live demonstration of Eagle hunting and interact with the hunter to learn more about this unique practice.
Thereafter continue to Karakol, the gateway to central part of the Tien Shan mountain range. On the way we will visit Jeti-Oguz , a picturesque canyon named after seven red rock formations that resemble bulls. Night stay in a hotel
Day 8: Trek Akk Su to Yurt camp 1
Today we start our three day trek in the Tien Shan, which translate to “Mountain of the Gods”. Traversing through China, Kazakhstan, Uzebekistan and Kyrgyzstan it covers a length of 2900 kilometers.
After breakfast drive up for around an hour through Turgon Ak-suu valley, to the start point of our trek. From here start walking through a picturesque meadow strewn with wild flowers. The initial part of the walk is a bit marshy so good waterproof shoes are a must. The route steadily climbs by through the fir forest till we reach Boz Uchuk Ashu Pass (3430 m ) . Night stay in a Yurt camp
Day 9: Trek – Yurt Camp 1 to Jergez
Today we continue our walk to Jergez camp crossing an unnamed pass at 3516 meters. If the day is clear then we will get good view of Tashtambek-Tor-Bashi Peak. The climb to the pass will take around 4 hours, with the last 2 hours being steep. From the pass descend to our camp at Jergez. For those who are upto it we will hike up further to Ailanysh lake at 3432 m. Night stay in a Yurt camp
Day 10: Trek Jergez to start point – Karakol drive
It’s a long day of descent as we trace the glacial stream flowing beside our campsite, following it gently down the valley. This is likely to be the most picturesque stretch of the trek; walking through rolling meadows carpeted with vibrant wildflowers and surrounded by sweeping mountain views. From here, we drive back to Karakol, pausing en route to unwind and rejuvenate at the local hot springs. Night stay in a hotel
