Probably one of the most breathtaking routes in the Eastern Himalayas, the Aeyo Valley Trek follows an ancient hunting trail through dense, old-growth forests. Moss-draped paths with lichen-covered trees create an atmosphere so primeval, it feels like stepping back into the Jurassic era.
As you journey into Aeyo Valley, you’ll encounter spectacular waterfalls formed by a complex web of intertwining river systems unique to this region. But the true highlight awaits at the trek’s pinnacle—jaw-dropping vistas of brilliant turquoise glacial lakes, the birthplace of the Aeyo River.
