The Kamlang trek takes you on a journey into one of Arunachal Pradesh’s lesser-explored wilderness landscapes. Despite neighbouring the famous Namdapha National Park, very few have ever heard about Kamlang Tiger Reserve. Tucked away in the remote Eastern corner of Arunachal Pradesh this pristine forest shelters an incredible diversity of flora and fauna, including over 150 species of birds and 25 species of mammals..
The Kamlang trek winds through dense subtropical forests, bamboo groves, and misty mountain slopes, offering a glimpse into a rich ecosystem where nature thrives undisturbed. The trail leads us to the jaw dropping Glaw Lake, a sacred high-altitude lake surrounded by forested ridges. Along the way, you will encounter diverse birdlife, ancient trees, and the traditional landscapes of the indigenous communities who have lived in harmony with these forests for generations. The Kamlang Trek is not just a walk through the wilderness, but an opportunity to experience one of Arunachal’s most secluded and enchanting ecosystems.
